ORANGE SANDALWOOD
ORANGE SANDALWOOD

OLHA MARIA
It's about a dream, I guess.
If I'm mistaken,
it's at least about the part of our imagination
that we sometimes call "dream".
It's an extension of us.
It's a vision, somehow
It's a narrative, surely,
but you need to fill the script.
It's the beauty that surrounds the idea.
It's the beauty of the raw decision,
the low budget (or the "no budget"),
the two-day project worked
in a feverish turmoil of work.
It's, I guess, the need to do it
like this because
it needs to be so.
(Thanks for your vision,
Chico Buarque, and
to the singer and actress
Joana Machado
to Bernardo Sassetti
at the piano
and Tiago Angelino/Tiago Pereira,
director and editor of the video)
